St. Peter’s Church, Emerald

It’s almost time for “Camp Firelight, have you signed up yet? VBS will start on Monday, July 29th and end on Friday, August 2nd. Each night begins at 6PM and goes till 8:30PM. You can register your youth, ages 4-16 years by contacting Kristin Garrison at 484-550-2478 or 19Kristin87@gmail.com.
We invited you to start your week at St. Peter’s Church, we start with Sunday school for all ages at 9:30am. Followed by the Worship service at 10:30am, with the observance of Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of every month.
The Book of Revelation is the new topic for the Monday morning Bible Study at 10am.
EDGE, “Every Day God Encounters”, St Peter’s Youth group will be starting on September 9th at 6PM. Grief Share will resume in September. Both programs meet at the Helping Hands Community Center of Slatedale, and is located at 4019 Main St, Slatedale.
Women looking for a way to help the community? Come out and be a part of the Women In Faith, they meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6PM, no meeting till September and they also meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month for Breakfast at 9am, at various restaurants.
Remember, “The Redeemers Closet” is now open for clothing from 2-4PM every Wednesday. This is in addition to our monthly clothing ministry on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9am -Noon, at the Helping Hands Community Center of Slatedale. This is a ministry of St. Peter’s Church and is located at 4019 Main St. Slatedale. See you on June 15th, come and check out all the new clothing. The clothing collection box is now open for donations of gently used clothing only NO toys, etc., and this is located at the Helping Hands Community Center.
The Food Ministry Giveaway is weekly on Thursdays. As in the past, the line forms at the Northern Lehigh foodbank. The give-away begins at 10am and goes to noon or the food is gone.
Fridays Pastor Michelle returns with “Moments with Kids” at 10am. Find this on our facebook.com/StPetersChurch18080.
In all areas of the church’s ministries, we continue to praise God for his blessings both large and small. If you have a need, please contact Pastor Bill at 610-737-1450 to see if help is available.
