Sunday, September 8th, at 10:30am will be an outdoor church service, followed by a church picnic, the meat and drink will be provided by the church invite your family and friends. Communion will be served during the service. Everyone is welcome to be part of this day.
We invited you to start your week at St. Peter’s Church, we start with Sunday school for all ages at 9:30am. Followed by the Worship service at 10:30am, with the observance of Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of every month.
The Book of Revelation is the new topic for the Monday morning Bible Study at 10am. Thursday Bible Study will begin, exploring Season 4 of the Chosen, The starting date is September 19th at 6:30PM
EDGE is changing their meeting night to Sundays, starting September 8th.
EDGE, “Every Day God Encounters” St Peter’s Youth group will be starting on September 8th at 6PM. Grief Share is now back in session, beginning at 10am. Both programs meet at the Helping Hands Community Center of Slatedale, and is located at 4019 Main St, Slatedale.
Women looking for a way to help the community? Come out and be a part of the Women In Faith, they meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6PM, September’s meeting is on the17th, and they also meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month for Breakfast at 9am, at various restaurants.
Remember, “The Redeemers Closet” is now open for clothing from 2-4PM every Wednesday. This is in addition to our monthly clothing ministry on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9am -Noon, at the Helping Hands Community Center of Slatedale. This is a ministry of St. Peter’s Church and is located at 4019 Main St. Slatedale. See you on September 21st, come and check out all the new clothing. The clothing collection box is always open for donations of gently used clothing only NO toys, etc., and this is located at the Helping Hands Community Center. If you are interested in volunteering, show up and tell them you saw it in the Gazette.
The Food Ministry Giveaway is weekly on Thursdays. As in the past, the line forms at the Northern Lehigh foodbank. The give-away begins at 10am and goes to noon or the food is gone.
