Please join us on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 6 PM at Ridgeview Farm Vineyards & Brewing Co. for a fundraising screening and director Q&A for “Sally’s Iron Mustangs”.
“Sally’s Iron Mustangs” is a documentary film that follows Sally Winchell, an age-defying bodybuilder and nutrition buff who devotes herself to building community health programs in Lancaster, PA. As she grapples with her impending 65th birthday, she leads the Iron Mustangs, a group of senior women who have taken up powerlifting in retirement, towards competition in the Senior Games. In addition to viewing the film in a beautiful space, participants will enjoy snacks, a photo backdrop, and have the option to purchase alcoholic beverages crafted by Ridgeview Farm. Community businesses have graciously contributed vouchers, items, and experiences for a silent auction. Tickets are available at a “Pay What You Can” rate at the door. A portion of the night’s proceeds will be donated to the Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society.
