St. Peter’s UMC Events

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for this years VBS program, running from July 29th – August 2nd. “Camp Firelight”. More information to follow.
Need Food for your soul, and food for thought? We invited you to start your week at St. Peter’s Church, we start with Sunday school for all ages at 9:30am. Followed by the Worship service at 10:30am, with the observance of Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of every month, due to vacations, communion will be observed in June on the 9th.
The Book of Revelation is the new topic for the Monday morning Bible Study at 10am. May 20th is the last meeting till September the meet at 6PM, youth going into 5th thru 12th grades, are invited to be part of EDGE, “Every Day God Encounters”.
Grief Share is on hold until September. The Helping Hands Community Center of Slatedale, and is located at 4019 Main St, Slatedale.
Women looking for a way to help the community? Come out and be a part of the Women In Faith, they meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6PM, and they also meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month for Breakfast at 9am, at various restaurants.
Remember, “The Redeemers Closet” is now open for clothing from 2-4PM every Wednesday. This is in addition to our monthly clothing ministry on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9am -Noon, at the Helping Hands Community Center of Slatedale. This is a ministry of St. Peter’s Church and is located at 4019 Main St. Slatedale. See you on May 18th, come and check out all the new clothing. The clothing collection box is now open for donations of gently used clothing only NO toys, etc., and this is located at the Helping Hands Community Center.
Food Truck Thursday’s have official started the weekly food give aways again. As in the past, the line forms at the Northern Lehigh foodbank. The give-away begins at 10am and goes to noon or the food is gone.
